The company Processes Chicory from "FARM to CUP".In the first step the Chicory seeds imported from France are distributed to the farmers during Septembver / October for growing. Contracts are made with the farmers for quality & quantity.The harvesting of the roots are planned for mid March to mid May every year. The company owns a complete harvest handling Equipment right from receiving the fresh roots from the farmers,cleaning,washing,dicing,sun drying & eventually packing & storage.
The next step is roasting,once the harvest is completed,the company roasts the Chicory in its owned facility in Gujarat state of Western India. The company owns 2 roasting factories in Western india where it can roast the Chicory as per customer requirements.The working environment inside the roasting factory is maintained clean & hygenic to meet with the standards of food safety & also to provide a safe working environment for the workers.Further company has its own milling installations to mill the roasted Chicory as per customer specifications to prepare roasted Chicory powders.
The company also has a production agreement & tie-up with an extraction company to extract the roasted chicory to prepare liquid Chicory. This is a new producat added since 5years.
