The company today is the only authorized important & development parter for Chicory Seeds (Chicorium Intybus) from FLORIMOND DESPREZ,France.Since the late 1950's many seed Varities were imported from Various European companies.After the collaboration with FLORIMOND DESPREZ,France,the company was activly involved in developement trials of Various seed varities from FLORIMOND DESPREZ, France from 1995-1998.In 1999,the Variety ORCHIES (from FLORIMOND DESPREZ) was first commercially imported.During the agronomic trials in 1995-1998,it was found that the Variety ORCHIES was the, most suitable variety to grow in Western & Northen India in terms of Bolting resistance,dry matter content & Fresh Root yeild.This Variety gives a good balance between Fresh Root yeild to the farmer & extractivity & density to the roasting factory.
